Dolphins, Vampires and a Hippy, OH MY!

Amazing. Jimmy woke me up at 6am on Saturday morning and asked if I was in the mood for an adventure. Never to pass up an adventure, I said “YES!” And he said, well I had the strangest dream about how about we should go to Sea World….wanna go? You all know that Jim is not big on theme parks, so I jumped on the chance. We woke up the kids, and I got them dressed, a cooler packed, change of clothing, etc…and we were out of the house by 7:30am, stopped for breakfast and made it to Orlando shortly after the park opened.

It’s been ages since we’ve been to SW and the trio have never been. We arrived and found out that it was a special Halloween Night and they were going to have ToT for the wee ones, and they could have worn their costumes, but we didn’t know, but not a big deal…they didn’t care.

Anyway, right off the bat we did some amazing things. We paid extra money and did some behind the scenes stuff with the dolphins. OMG…the trio LOVED it! LOVED it.

Now…here is the AMAZING part. It’s just past 11:30am, and we’re starting to get hungry for lunch so we’re walking trying to find a good spot to eat. I notice this very colorful Halloween Hippy, so I take an extra look and OMG…it was my 11yo NIECE! I holler “EMILY” and I hear back “NO WAY, OMG JENNY” and it was MY SISTER, MY MOM, AND MY OTHER NIECE!! Ya’ll this was just too much. We had NO idea that they were going to be there and obviously they had no idea we were going to be there since we didn’t even decide until that morning. Turns out they came up the day before spent the night and then did SeaWorld on Saturday and were spending last night and going home today. It was so cool. We haven’t seen each other since my birthday bash in August….And really, they live 4 hours away from Sea World, and we never go to Sea World, so the odds of going at the same time, let alone FINDING each other, are very slim.  It was fate, I am telling you, it was fate.

So we spend the rest of the afternoon and evening together and then after the park closed we went back to their hotel for more playing, etc., and we left shortly after 11pm. We arrived home at 1am. It was certainly an Amazing Adventure!

Here are some pics!
