Garage Sale

I’m taking the yearly plunge and having a garage sale on Saturday.  Three of my neighbors are joining in on the fun!  The children love it when we have a garage sale.  Though this year, they seem to understand that the stuff of theirs that we are selling, they are not going to be getting back.  Hehe.  They just have too much stuff and it’s time to find a new family to live with.  Jim also has way too much stuff, and many of his PC parts, old college textbooks, VCR’s and a host of other junk, is saying bye-bye to Ft. Hodges.  I wonder why it seems that I don’t personally have anything to sell.  Oh wait, that’s not totally true.  I am parting with nearly my entire collection of environmental literature from my undergrad days.  Some classic works, but I just don’t have the space for it.  So it’s going on sale for $1 a book.  I hope they find a good home.

I’m also selling some of my older SCUBA equipment.  2 air tanks, some weights, and I’m considering selling my regulator since it’s nearly 20 years old!!  I won’t ever sell my mask though, it’s got built in glasses!

We’re going to put the money towards our holiday at the end of May!
